Man Arrested in Bestival Murder Investigation
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 25-year-old woman from London at Bestival, a music festival in Dorset, England. The body of the woman, who had attended the festival, was found this morning in a wooded area on site, according to a local police statement. An investigation is under way into how she died; police are interviewing the 28-year-old man today. Neither the victim nor suspect’s names have been released. In a statement on Facebook, the festival said, “The team at Bestival are devastated to hear about this tragic news. We continue to support the police in their ongoing investigation and our thoughts and prayers are with all the woman’s family and friends.”
