On Wednesday morning, police received a burglary call to the Brentwood property, the home of Robert Kennedy Jr. and Cheryl Hines.

A man was attempting to break into the home, but it is unclear why he targeted the property. Kennedy's security team was home at the time and was able to subdue the individual until the cops arrived and arrested him.

According to reports, Cheryl Hynes was home at the time of the incident, and she noticed the guy in her yard, however, at this time it is unclear if Robert Kennedy Jr. was also home. The situation was handled very quickly thanks to Kennedy's security team.

Shockingly, law enforcement was then called BACK to the home, after that the same guy returned to the property early Thursday morning around 1:30 a.m. and was arrested again for violating a court order.

Normally, cops issued a criminal protective order, barring the individual from coming near the property. It appears that's what happened in this case. The family will need to file a civil restraining order to protect themselves going forward.

Approximately two weeks ago, Kennedy Jr. declared his Independent candidacy for the 2024 Presidential Election -- ending his Democratic primary campaign.

Steven Cheung, a spokesperson for former President Donald Trump spoke out about Kennedy Jr.'s candidacy, stating, “Voters should not be deceived by anyone who pretends to have conservative values."

He then labeled Kennedy’s campaign “nothing more than a vanity project for a liberal Kennedy looking to cash in on his family’s name.” At this time, Robert Kennedy Jr. is likely to become a minor consideration, according to the latest numbers.

Brian Seitchik, a Republican strategist and former Trump campaign veteran also spoke out on Kennedy Jr.'s decision to run independently, claiming “I think that he is a lot of things, but I don’t think he’s a dummy. Now that he’s moved into running as an independent, I think his specific policy positions are frankly going to matter more.”

“On the surface, those positions are going to more appeal to Republican voters and therefore pull votes out of Donald Trump,” he added.

According to the Suffolk University/USA Today poll released on Monday, 37% of registered voters said they would vote for current President Joe Biden while 36% said they would support former President Donald Trump -- even with Trump’s ongoing $250 million civil fraud trial in New York, where he is accused of making false statements in business documents.

The former president has denied the claims and has been personally appearing in court to defend his “name and reputation.”

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Cornel West only gained 13% and 4% respectively.

It is unclear if the intruder was trying to break in to get to Kennedy Jr., or if he was there for something completely unrelated to politics.
