Mama to Mia: 'Bachelor' Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici welcome their first baby girl
"Bachelor" couple Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici Lowe have added to their growing brood, announcing the birth of their daughter Mia on Monday — the couple's first girl.
Catherine posted a smiling hospital-bed selfie of her holding her newborn daughter to Instagram, with the caption, "Mama, Mia" followed by hearts.
Sean was the third-place finalist on the 2012 season of "The Bachelorette" and became the lead of "The Bachelor" in 2013, where he proposed to the graphic designer Giudici. He was at his wife's side during the birth.
"It’s almost time to meet the new baby! Such a special time for me," Sean wrote on Instagram showing a picture at the hospital bed.
The couple already have two boys, Isaiah Hendrix, 19 months, and Samuel Thomas, 3.

Afterward, Sean posted a photo of him holding Mia, with an adoring look on his face.
"I’ve always wanted a daddy’s girl and now I’ve got her. Mia is healthy, Mama is doing great, and God is so good!" he wrote.

The couple did not know or reveal the sex of their new child until the birth. An Instagram photo posted just before the birth featured a pregnant Catherine referring to her child as "him/her."
"When Sean and I first talked about having a family, we constantly talked about a house full of love and laughter," she wrote. "I don’t think the baby knows how much love is really in store for him/her."

But the celebration over the baby girl news came through even in a video Sean Lowe posted on Tuesday, in which he announced the news, "We got a girl" to a jubilant waiting room — with brother Samuel leading the cheers.

In other Bachelor Nation Instagram news, Season 16 winner Courtney Robertson announced she is engaged and expecting her first child, a son, with Humberto Preciado on Monday. Robertson posted a photo of herself with Preciado holding a "I Love New York" baby onesie.
"Happy Holidays from the three of us 🥰 I can’t wait to marry this man, with our son there 💙 Easiest 'YES' I’ve ever said 💍" she wrote.
Robertson split from "Bachelor" Ben Flajnik in 2012.
