Mama June Shannon has a lot to answer for in the eyes of her children.

On Friday's episode of Mama June: Family Crisis, the reality star, 44, refused to help her daughter, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, with her college tuition after explaining that she was still in the process of "rebuilding my life" after spending most of her savings to finance her past drug addiction.

Admitting that she wasn't going to "lie and sugarcoat s---," the Shannon family matriarch revealed that she wasn't in the position to even help her youngest daughter with half of her tuition fees and asked if Alana, 18, was serious about attending school and "truck" her education "on through."

"If I didn't give a f--- about you and I didn't care about you succeeding and doing the things you want to do, I wouldn't be saying this," she said of her doubts that Alana was committed to going to college.

When Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird pointed out that Alana would only need help with paying her first semester to enroll, Mama June noted that she had a Coogan account, a trust where parents of child stars are legally required to deposit their earnings. However, Alana wouldn't be able to access the funds until she was 21.

Alana then asked her mother if she could withdraw the money on her behalf and Mama June claimed she didn't have permission to access the account, but promised to call the bank to figure out the details.

After sharing their thoughts that "Mama doesn't want me to leave" for college, Alana and Lauryn left their mother's home but couldn't help but feel there was "something off" about Mama June's refusal. Lauryn, 24, also claimed that "she's just avoiding all motherly responsibilities for Alana."

"Not even with a dollar," Alana sighed during the car ride home. "Maybe she thinks that paying for [her husband] Justin's chains or something is more important than giving it to me for college. She's stingy when it comes to money."

In a private conversation with cameras, the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo alum confessed she wasn't surprised that her mother was unwilling to lend financial help considering her attitude towards her leaving for college.

"It kind of just pisses me off because she can help everyone around her ... but it's just like when it comes to me it's like 'Well, Alana I can't do nothing for you, I don't have the money' and she knows she's got the money."

"It would have been nice to have her help. I don't know it's like she doesn't believe in me, for real," Alana added to Lauryn.

Back in her home, Mama June confided in Justin about her confrontation with Alana and Lauryn.

"I'm still rebuilding my life, that is why I have chose to give her some tough love and say 'No, I'm not going to pay for college,'" she explained. "It's me wanting her to see the bigger picture."

She went on to claim that she put 80 percent of Alana's earnings from her jobs in California into a Coogan account for her to access when she was older and noted that she was legally only required to deposit 20 percent and spend the rest.

As the conversation progressed, Mama June admitted she had a confession to make when it came to the funds in Alana's Coogan account.

"Truth to be known, Pumpkin may be mad and I'm sorry and the world may be mad and think that I'm the worst person ever," she began. "I've lied to my children over the years. I've lied to them and told them that you can't get your money until you're 21 so they wouldn't blow through it."

"It's smart to do it like that, Junebug, but the end of the day that's one of those life lessons that she's going to have to learn," Justin said in response to the news.
