Maluma and Girlfriend Susana Gomez Welcome First Baby, Daughter Paris: 'The Love of Our Lives'

Maluma is a dad!

The Colombian singer, 29, announced on Instagram Sunday that he and girlfriend Susana Gomez welcomed their first baby together, daughter Paris Londoño Gomez.

"On March 9th at 8:23 A.M. the love of our lives Paris Londoño Gomez was born. Thank you all for your birthday messages and well wishes," Maluma wrote in Spanish.

Turning his attention to Susana, the artist continued, "Susana.. Love: Thank you for fulfilling my biggest dream of being a Father, I will never forget that moment."

"I love them 💘," Maluma concluded his caption.

In his post, Maluma shared three black and white photographs celebrating his daughter's birth.

A first image showed the newborn holding his finger, while a second featured the family of three together in the hospital. Maluma was captured planting a kiss on Susana's forehead while their baby was cradled on her chest.

The last image, meanwhile, showed a shirtless Maluma kissing his little girl on her head.

While at the Latin Grammy Awards 2023 red carpet in Seville, Spain, in November, Maluma kissed Gomez's belly as they posed together for a sweet photo.

The first-time father, who performed a medley of hits from his latest album Don Juan, was nominated for two awards for his salsa single "La Fórmula" with Marc Anthony: record of the year and best tropical song.

The couple have been together since 2020, first announcing the pregnancy in October in the global artist's music video for his song "Procura."

In an interview with NPR, Maluma addressed his baby news for the first time, as he shared that becoming a father is “such a big dream” for him.

“Paris, our beautiful daughter, she’s growing inside her mom’s belly and she gives me many reasons to keep dreaming… She’s everything to me right now," he said.

“It’s a beautiful journey, you know I’m here to learn. I think these kids come into this world to teach us a bunch of things so I’m ready to learn," he continued.
