Colombian singer Maluma turned the Don Haskins Center into a sexy, Latin fiesta complete with eight lithe dancers Sept. 24.
The singer kept fans dancing with his Latin pop, urban, reggaeton and salsa hits throughout the night as part of his 2023 Don Juan World Tour. His song list included "Hawai," "Felices Los Cuatro," "Sobrio," as well as his latest release, "Diablo, que Chimba."
The world tour stage was impressive with an M-shape, allowing fans with the best tickets to fill in the gaps and a good look at the singer all night. Band members and backup singers were inside set squares that flanked both sides of the stage. And a massive screen behind the stage often let fans get a good look at his chiseled face.
He repeatedly thanked El Paso fans for coming out to the show and was pleased when they joined him and made his hits a singalong.
"Me siento agradecido con Dios y con la vida por dejarme vivir de lo que amo, que es la musica, que es un arte. (I feel very grateful to God and this life for letting me make a living from what I love, music, which is an art form.)" he said.
He also had no trouble singing hits he's collaborated with other artists, such as "Chantaje, (Shakira)" and "Segun Quien? (Carin Leon)."

About mid-way through the concert, he walked around the edge of the arena to pop onto a second smaller stage with a giant inflatable of a Doberman Pinscher, where he continued to sing and dance for another while.
He changed his look at various times of the night, removing and adding his man bun, slick shades, a hat and, at the end, removing his shirt to reveal a ripped body.
Maluma's tour continues this week with concerts Sept. 29 at the HEB Center in Austin, Sept. 30 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas and Oct. 1 at the Smart Financial Centre in Houston. His tour continues through November.
