‘Making History’ Stars Reveal Their Most Desired Time Traveling Destinations

Time traveling has its perks.

In Fox’s new comedy Making History, Adam Pally’s Dan travels to the Colonial era, where he finds a lovely girlfriend, Deborah Revere (Leighton Meester), and makes a bunch of new friends by giving out ham.

Of course, there are downsides to time travel, too. When Yahoo TV asked the cast which era they would want to go back to, Pally points out, “I just want you to know that you’re speaking to a Jew, a woman, and a black person, so there is no other time we’d like to be.”

Well, except one: before the last presidential election. “Mid-2014!” Yassir Lester says wistfully. Oh, for more innocent times!

Plus, there’s always the possibility of messing up major events like, you know, the American Revolution.

“I screw up history by doing that,” Pally explains of his character. “So I need the best American history professor at the college [played by Lester].”

Not only is Dan messing with history, he hasn’t exactly been honest with Deborah, who believes “most modern inventions are his.”

“Televisions, roller blades, devil sticks,” Meester says, adding, “I also believe that he is Cher.”

Making History premieres Sunday, March 5 at 8:30 p.m. on Fox.
