She wanted to know about the way she was.

Barbra Streisand, 82, has come under fire for a since-deleted comment she made on Melissa McCarthy’s Instagram.

On Monday, McCarthy, 53, shared several snaps of her and choreographer Adam Shankman outside the Center Theatre Group Gala in LA on Sunday. The comedian wore a mint-green outfit.

“Pastels only to honor the incredible @matthewbourne13 at the @ctgla gala last night with this fella @adamshankman,” she wrote in the post’s caption. “Thiiiiis much closer to my dream of dancing on stage.”

In a now-deleted comment, the “A Star Is Born” lead wrote, “Give him my regards did you take Ozempic?”

Even though it got deleted, screenshots have circulated and fans have had a field day with it.

“DOES SHE NOT KNOW EVERYONE CAN SEE HER COMMENTS???” one person wrote.

“Babs. No, honey. Just no,” one fellow commenter replied on Instagram.

“Babs typing away on IG like my elderly mom telling me she text someone something, and me explaining: ‘No, mom, you wrote it on FB on your wall for all to see

“Serving the Streisand Effect in real time,” one person wrote on X, referring to how deleting the comment has not made it get less attention.

Others, however, cut Streisand a break.

“I believe she meant that for a private question. Cant any of you show her some grace !!” one person wrote.

“She probably thought it was a DM lol,” another user posted on X, formerly Twitter, with a screenshot of the comment.

The “Bridesmaids” actress never answered Streisand’s comment, and it’s unclear if she saw it before it got deleted.

McCarthy has spoken openly about body image issues and weight loss over the years, however, she has not mentioned Ozempic, a diabetes drug that has recently become trendy for weight-loss purposes.

McCarthy has said before that she’s been “every size on the planet.” She also said she once lost 70 pounds by turning to an all-liquid diet, which she’d “never” do again.

In 2015, she lost 50 pounds because “I truly stopped worrying about it,” she told Life & Style at the time.

“I think there’s something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked.”
