Maisie Williams Has a ‘Normal’ Boyfriend — and She’s Not Telling Who He Is

Maisie Williams has been keeping a secret.

In a new interview with InStyle U.K., the Game of Thrones actress, 18, reveals that she has a boyfriend. The romance with her schoolmate isn’t exactly new either.

“We’ve been together for over a year. I guess you could say things are getting pretty serious,” the sword-swinging actress who plays Arya Stark told the mag in a silly voice.

So what’s his dealio? “He’s not famous. I met him at school. And now he’s my boyfriend!” she giggled.

Williams left school at 14 to pursue her acting career. She was homeschooled after that and never sat for her GCSE exams that most British teens take. So she must have met her mystery beau at least four years ago when she still attended school.

“People feel it’s strange that someone who’s famous can go out with someone who’s normal. I don’t meet anyone else,” she said. “Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but I don’t go to all these parties. I don’t meet the other young, male actors. I just like normal people, I guess.”

Nothing wrong with “normal people.” In fact, she herself sounds pretty normal to us as well.
