Come fly away

New Mexico Trout is hosting a fly-fishing workshop from 1-4 p.m. Friday, March 1, and conclave from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at the UNM Continuing Education Center, 1634 University Blvd. NE. A musical tradition

KlezmerQuerque 2024, Albuquerque's 22nd annual festival of klezmer music and dance is set for this weekend. Enjoy three days of events, including music, dancing, concerts and hands-on workshops, Friday, March 1, through Sunday, March 3. Natural wonder

Explore the "Geometry of Nature" with artists Catalina Salinas and Donna Loraine Contractor at 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 1. Learn how art can be inspired by colors, nature, mathematics and geometry in the artists' current show, and create your own designs in this free event. Eyes to the skies

The Rio Grande Nature Center State Park will be the site of a Star Party brought to you by The Albuquerque Astronomical Society from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, March 2. Journey to the past

Música Antigua de Albuquerque will transport you to "The World of Isabella of Castile," music from Spain during the reign of Isabella I, performed with voices and period instruments. The concerts are set for 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at St. Bede's Episcopal Church, 550 West San Mateo Road in Santa Fe; and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal, 601 Montaño Road NW in Albuquerque.
