Madonna's Daughter Participates in Simulated Orgy During Art Basel

Madonna's daughter is following in her footsteps of controversial artistic expression and took part in a cutting-edge fashion show that ended with some very graphic simulated group sex. The party went down Friday night in Miami during the annual Art Basel event. 23-year-old Lourdes Ciccone Leon was one of the featured models that walked during a fashion show for Spanish designer brand Desigual during an event designed by Barcelona-based performance artist Carlota Guerrero.

Video from the event reveals Lourdes being the last model to walk towards a pyramid structure that all the other models had fixed themselves on after making their way down the runway.

Showing off some impressive whimsical dance moves, Lourdes made her way down the runway while wearing a skintight tie-dyed dress. After reaching the base of the structure, she quickly climbed up a level and posed with the rest of the models. The audience suddenly moves closer to the group of models and everyone whips out their iPhones as all the models partner up and begin to strip each other down. The fashion show then takes on a whole new vibe as the beautiful pieces of clothing are stripped off and thrown to the ground.

The Clothes Come Off

As everyone strips down, it is revealed that they are all wearing nude-colored underwear and nipple covers underneath their clothes. The act is sensual and artistic, not vulgar or raunchy, and the group then began to engage in a simulated session of love. Everyone was writhing and touching, feeling and rubbing ... and Madonna's eldest daughter was in the thick of the action. There was no actual sex by any of the participants, but it looked like everyone was enjoying themselves and basically toed the line.

What's It All Mean?

Obviously the expression and creativity during the fashion show wasn't just meant to sell clothes, but also to be a performance piece by the artists. Desiguel posted a video of the event on Instagram, and call the piece "Love Different." They also wrote an explanation of the inspiration behind the art:

Madonna & Lourdes

Madonna has six children, and Lourdes is her eldest. She's been very supportive of Lourdes, nicknamed Lola, following in her footsteps as an artist, but has admitted she'd worried about the hurdles she'll have to overcome. Back in May, the 60-year-old "Madame X" star gave an interview to Vogue and spoke about Lourdes' career.

However, Madonna revealed where she feels Lourdes is lacking, telling Vogue, "she doesn’t have the same drive, and again, I feel social media plagues her and makes her feel like, ‘People are going to give me things because I’m her daughter."

Madonna says she tries to give Lourde examples of successful celebrity children, like "Zoë Kravitz, for instance, who have to work through that ‘Oh yeah, you’re the daughter of…’ – and then eventually you are taken seriously for what you do. You just have to keep going. But does she have the same drive that I have? No."

The singing icon did reveal what she feels her daughter has that she didn't, and what her plan is for going forward, explaining, "But she also has a mother, and I didn’t. She grew up with money, and I didn’t. So everything is going to be different. But what can I do? I can’t fixate on it. I just have to do my best."
