In her tell-all memoir, the now 41-year-old pop star reflected on allegations of infidelity and even an unplanned pregnancy that led the “Cry Me A River” singer to disable comments on his Instagram page to try to escape the backlash. However, even though he retreated to Cabo to escape the bad press, fans started covering the Instagram page of his wife, actress Jessica Biel with questions about his infidelity.

Although the former couple dated from 1999 to 2002, Britney opened up on her at-home abortion for the first time in her memoir. “It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she wrote in her memoir. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father,” she continued, adding, “To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.” The statement that Justin "didn't want to be a father" at the time did not sit well with many fans, especially with the way that Justin portrayed Britney in interviews following the split.

In her memoir, Britney spoke much more positively about her relationship with Madonna. “If I could go back now, I would try to become my own parent, my own partner, my own advocate – the way I knew Madonna did,” Britney wrote. “She had endured so much sexism and bullying from the public and the industry, and had been shamed for her sexuality so many times, but she always overcame it.”

She also opened up about the iconic 2003 MTV Video Music Awards kiss, revealing that it had only been an "air kiss" in rehearsals. “I thought to myself, ‘I want a moment like that again this year. With the kiss, should I just go for it?’” Britney later said, “A lot was made of that kiss. Oprah asked Madonna about it. The kiss was treated as a huge cultural moment – ‘Britney kissing Madonna!’ – and it got us both a lot of attention.”
