Madonna has given fans an exciting update about her rescheduled Celebration tour after her recent health crisis. The iconic "Like A Virgin" singer had been hospitalized due to a life-threatening bacterial infection. However, after a stint in the ICU, the Queen of Pop is now back on her feet.

On Friday, Madonna updated her followers on her Instagram stories that new tour dates will be revealed in the coming days. "Thank you again for your incredible support and patience over these past few weeks!" she shared, adding, "I'm happy to report that the re-routed tour schedule will be coming in the next few days!"

The singer then concluded with an enthusiastic note, saying, "See you soon for a well-deserved Celebration!!" along with several emojis.

In an Instagram post on July 31, Madonna attributed her speedy recovery to the love and care of her children, writing that her kids came through for her during her challenging time. Madonna said, "Love from family and friends is the best Medicine. One month out of the hospital and I can reflect."

"As a Mother you can really get caught up In the needs Of your children and the seemingly endless giving...But when the chips were down my children really showed up for me. It made all the difference. So did the love and support from my friends," she added.

Still reflecting on her recovery journey, the 64-year-old expressed gratitude for her regained strength and how lucky she is to be "alive."

She added, "Thank you to all my angels who protected me and let me Stay to finish doing my work!"

Before Madonna's hospitalization, doctors had noted her fatigue and exhaustion and told the Daily Mail about how "worn down and thin" the "Frozen" singer looked.

Despite this challenging setback, Madonna has maintained an optimistic outlook on her recovery path. In a heartwarming Instagram post on July 27, she shared a video of herself dancing and captioned it, "To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the luckiest star in the world."

The post also served as a celebration of her first album's 40th birthday.

Madonna's Celebration tour was designed to commemorate her remarkable four decades of hit music. Initially set to commence this Saturday in Detroit, the tour schedule adjustments and dates are still pending confirmation from the artist and her team.

On July 10, the Grammy Award-winner stated her commitment to her tour despite her health scare in an Instagram post where she opened up about her near-death experience.

She noted that one of the things she thought about while in the hospital was how she "did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets to [her] tour." 

"The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe," the Queen of Pop added. She also made sure to convey her appreciation to fans, stating, "I couldn't be more grateful for your care and support."

After her shocking hospitalization became public news, Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, posted an update on Instagram about the star's health status. He said the "Vogue" singer had "developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several days stay in the ICU." Oseary added that doctors expect her to make a "full recovery."

Actress and comedienne Rosie O'Donnell, one of Madonna's close friends, also shared an update for fans on Instagram. She responded to a comment asking about how Madonna was handling the crisis, saying, "She is recovering at home — she is very strong in general."

When another follower commented, "God bless her hope she's ok, I don't care about the tour," O'Donnell replied, "She's good." Madonna's best friend, Debi Mazar, also spoke on the singer's health and said she was "on the mend & home resting!"
