Madonna is grateful to be alive! On Friday the "Material Girl" songstress took to Instagram to share a video of her celebrating her 65th birthday with friends and family on the beach and dancing the night away at a lavish party in Portugal. The clip featured her six children—26-year-old Lourdes Leon, 22-year-old Rocco Ritchie, 17-year-old David Banda, 17-year-old Mercy James and 10-year-old twins Stella and Estere. In her sentimental caption Madge mentioned how happy she is to be celebrating the milestone birthday. "It’s great to be Alive,” she wrote. "And Amazing to be able to put on my dancing shoes and Celebrate my Birthday! I’m So Grateful. Thank you, Lisbon, and to all who made it possible. " Her post comes weeks after she confirmed she is returning to the stage following her hospitalization. In June, her longtime manager, Guy Oseary announced on Instagram that she had been hospitalized for "Several days in the ICU" due to a bacterial infection and was expected to make a full recovery.
