Madonna just teased an exciting project.

On Thursday, the "Vogue" hitmaker, 65, took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her new "Popular" music video with The Weeknd, 34, and Playboi Carti, 27.

The Weeknd (né Abel Tesfaye) dropped the song, from HBO's The Idol, in June 2023. However, Madonna has now revealed that the trio also collaborated on an official music video, which was released this week in Fortnite's Fortnite Festival game mode.

Sharing a teaser on social media, Madonna wrote in the caption, "I did [a] song with @theweeknd and @playboicarti -called - 'Popular' Duh ! 🥳"

"The video debuts Finally and Exclusively in the Fortnite festival!! Tune into the game February 15-18! it’s the only way to watch the video!" she added.

The teaser clip showed the musicians singing the chorus in unison, wearing all-black outfits and accessorizing with a lot of bling.

The song's lyrics seem to mirror The Idol's theme of fame and its downsides. The Weeknd sings, "Beggin' on her knees to be popular / That's her dream, to be popular / Kill anyone to be popular / Sell her soul to be popular."

The music video teaser comes after Tesfaye revealed last June that he wants to co-produce an album with Madonna.

"I mean, the thing is, I've always wanted to work with her. I've always wanted to write and produce a Madonna album... well, co-produce with her, of course ... because she's a visionary and she has such a singular vision," the "Blinding Lights" hitmaker told Apple Music's Zane Lowe at the time.

The Canadian star continued, "I just want to come into her world and create a classic Madonna album. That was always my dream. So this can be... Hopefully this is the appetizer for that."

"I'm proud of it. I'm definitely proud of it. Me and Carti had this... I mean, we've jammed out before," he previously explained to Lowe of the song's creative process. "We've had a different version of this song prior. So I've had these vocals for a while, and I've kind of just worked around it and then kept it in the tuck. But now it felt like it was time."

Tesfaye added, "I've been producing the song for a while. And then Madonna, Madge. She’s the ultimate co-sign for this song, for this album and for this TV show. And you'll hear more of her in the show as well too. She is the ultimate pop star."
