Madonna will play Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena on Jan. 15, part of her rescheduled Celebration Tour itinerary.

The new North American schedule was announced Tuesday morning, five weeks after Madonna postponed the bulk of her tour after a daunting bacterial infection landed her in intensive care.

The Celebration Tour will kick off with a European leg in the fall — those shows were never postponed — and will begin its North American run with three shows at Barclays Center in New York in December.

Madonna’s Michigan homecoming was initially planned for Aug. 5 at LCA. The new Jan. 15 show will be her first in Detroit in more than eight years.

Existing tickets for the postponed Celebration Tour shows will be honored for the rescheduled dates, though refunds will be available at the point of purchase. Fans who want to purchase seats should keep an eye on Ticketmaster for availability.

Madonna’s planned stops in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Nashville, Tennessee, have been canceled, along with single nights in San Francisco, Las Vegas and Phoenix, which still have other Madonna concerts on the new schedule.

“Getting all shows rescheduled was the number one priority," read Tuesday's tour announcement. "Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts a few shows noted below will be canceled. Madonna regrets the inconvenience to fans and hopes to make it up to those markets in the future."
