Madonna and 25-Year-Old Backup Dancer's Relationship Confirmed
The mantra 'love knows no age' seems to be more evident and true these days, with countless examples of people who are pushing the boundaries, including A-listers and other high profile celebrities.
It's become much less taboo to date or marry someone drastically different in age due to the dwindling societal constraints and an overall open-mindedness.
So naturally, Madonna, 61, and her 25-year-old boyfriend have taken notice and are currently living their best lives together, according to her boyfriend's parents. But who is he and how did the two meet?
Rumors Abounding
For months there have been rumors swirling of Madonna dating Ahlamalik Williams, one of the backup dancers for her show. Up until now, this was not confirmed.
Speaking to TMZ, Williams' father, Drue shared that the two have been dating for over a year now. How the two met was the interesting part, though, seemingly foreshadowing what was to be.
In 2015, a host of aspiring dancers were auditioning for the Material Girl's Rebel Heart Tour. Williams caught Madonna's eye and she personally handpicked him out of the group to be one of the backup dancers.
The rest is history, I guess you could say.
Things Getting Serious between the Two
Fast forward to September and things are starting to get a little serious. Madonna decided to meet Williams' parents after a show she had in New York City, if that's saying anything.
Then she invited Ahlamalik's parents to one of her shows at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. They weren't just tickets to a seat, though. Her boyfriend's parents were invited to her suit, where she had her personal chef cook for them.
It's obviously apparent that Madonna and Williams' parents got off on the right foot because they have been invited to subsequent shows in London and France for the new year.
Love Has No Age
According to Ahlamalik's father, Drue, the respective ages of a couple don't determine happiness. Sharing with TMZ he said, "Love has no age. My son is livin' la Vida Loca, and I'm just happy for him."
Of course, the couple is not racing to get to alter, but things are developing rather quickly between them. Madonna revealed that she has even told her boyfriend's father that she loves Ahlamalik, stating that she loves him unconditionally and wants to take care of him.

Whether or not the couple gets hitched down the road, we don't know. But it seems that the two are truly in love and want to be with each other for the long haul. After all, this doesn't seem like one of those relationships with a stark age dichotomy that's harboring nefarious intentions.
Williams' parents will be present for a couple of Madonna's shows in 2020, confirming that their tickets have already been purchased to fly over to Europe. This certainly will only strengthen the relationship that the family has with the singer, as well as, the one between Madonna, herself, and Ahlamalik.
