Madison Rayne says she’s doing fine after she was involved in a scary-looking spot on AEW TV.

Rayne was in action on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite against Deonna Purrazzo. During the match, Rayne took a reverse STO-like move and ended up getting spiked on the top of her head. Plenty of fans were worried about her due to the nature of the landing, but Rayne says there’s no need to worry.

“Hi ??‍

I’m okay! Thanks so much to everyone who celebrated my Dynamite return & those who checked in on me afterwards,” Madison Rayne wrote on Twitter. “To those who have never stepped into a ring but tweeted awful things at me w/ zero knowledge of what actually happened- thanks for watching. Have a great day ?”

Madison Rayne on Gail Kim

Madison Rayne previously spoke about her relationship with Gail Kim during an appearance on the AEW Unrestricted podcast.

Rayne praised her time working with Gail Kim, especially after she became a mother. “The Queen Bee” returned to the IMPACT Zone in late 2013, commencing a lengthy feud with Kim.

“When I first came into TNA or IMPACT, she had left for her second run at WWE. So I didn’t meet her until a couple of years into my career and then within a couple of years after that,” Rayne explained. Especially when I came back from having my daughter — I had my first match back in December of that year. I don’t know, six, eight weeks after I had her. I still don’t know how I did it.”

“But my first feud was with Gail and it was not just like a few wrestling matches. We were having weapons matches and I think it all finally culminated in a cage match, at a Lockdown pay-per-view. So we were really doing it and I think we were able to do that because she’s such a star and such a legend. She took this brand-new mom and recreated her into a wrestler, not just a wrestler, but like a better version of Madison Rayne than I was when I left. She was somebody that always pushed me. I think she did it with several of her opponents, pushed us out of our comfort zone to prove to us what we didn’t know we could do.”
