The Cincinnati Bengals finally returned to form during their win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. So will they get to .500 in their next game?

The Bengals can improve to 3-3 against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. And since we can't wait for this freakin' game, we decided to check with "Madden 24" on Xbox One for its prediction.

Up until last week, "Madden" hadn't had a great track record in terms of accurately predicting Bengals games this season. We started doing these simulations in Week 3, and it was 0-2 through the first two simulations.

But there's a first time for everything, and the video game accurately predicted the team's win over the Cardinals last week.

So how will it follow that performance in Week 6?

"Madden" seems to think the Bengals will continue their winning ways.

Before pressing A to start the simulation, we set the quarters to seven minutes each (to avoid unrealistic video game scores) and made sure the teams played a 1 p.m. game at Paycor Stadium. Since neither Tee Higgins nor Chidobe Awuzie played in Week 5 (and their statuses for Week 6 were unknown at the start of the simulation), we chose to sit them out.

Then we let the "Madden" gods do their thing.

1st quarter

The Bengals started the game hot, scoring a touchdown on their first drive. Joe Burrow found tight end Drew Sample from 3 yards out to claim a 7-0 lead.

2nd quarter

Things got a bit hairy for the home team in the second quarter. The Seahawks sacked Burrow for a safety, making it 7-2. A couple minutes later, Geno Smith threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Lockett, which gave the Seahawks a 9-7 lead, which they took into halftime.

3rd quarter

The Bengals defense dominated in the second half, and the offense did what it needed to win. Evan McPherson sank a 25-yard field goal in the third quarter, helping Cincinnati claim a 10-9 advantage.

4th quarter

Amid the defense's second-half shutout, Burrow and company marched down the field one more time in the fourth quarter. The offense capped off a long drive with a 1-yard Joe Mixon touchdown run, making it 17-9 with 1:52 remaining.

The Seahawks had a chance to tie it at the end, but a failed Hail Mary gave the Bengals the 17-9 win.
