Here are the Madame Web box office predictions. Learn how much the next film from Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is expected to make on its opening weekend and see if it could turn out to be a success story.

How much is Madame Web projected to make at the box office?

Sony’s Madame Web is reportedly predicted to open with $25M – $35M at the domestic box office.

Box Office Pro’s long-range predictions state that the latest Marvel movie from Sony could end up making somewhere between $25 million and $35 million during its first weekend. Then depending on how it scores with critics and audiences, it could go on to make somewhere between $56-101 million domestically. How it performs in international markets remains to be seen.

Will Sony’s Madame Web flop or succeed?

As per its initial estimates, Madame Web will likely not be making its money back at the worldwide box office. But a lot depends on its critical reception and international numbers.

Madame Web was reportedly produced on an $80 million budget. A similar amount would have been spent on its marketing as well. So, considering that theater chains also keep about 50% of the box office money, Madame Web needs to gross somewhere between $250-300 million to break even.

Even if it performs on the high end of its domestic predictions, it will have to do even better overseas to make its money back, and that may not be possible if the film doesn’t get any support from critics before release. So, the film is likely going to fight an uphill battle and might turn out to be more like Morbius instead of Venom in terms of its financial numbers.
