Machine Gun Kelly’s Birthday Proves He & Megan Fox Might Not Be Distancing Themselves Anytime Soon

If you’ve kept up with Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly‘s relationship over the years, then you know their “twin flame” connection is quite a bumpy one. From breakups and makeups, the two have been on and off for four years – and that includes their latest appearance.

Sharing the pictures from his 34th birthday party, Kelly shared a series of pictures on Instagram. In the fifth picture, the Jennifer’s Body star is sitting next to Kelly as they both smile at the camera.

For the night, Fox accessorized her purple-to-blue ombré hair with an all-black ensemble while Kelly wore black pants and a baby blue T-shirt with the rapper Nelly printed on the front.

“genre: birthday 🙅🏼‍♂️🙅🏼‍♂️,” Kelly wrote in the caption.

Also pictured in the carousel are fellow musician Post Malone, Kelly’s daughter teenage daughter Cassie and many other friends.

For many fans, Fox’s appearance on his birthday is a clear indication they’re back together. “When you shut down the rumors 🤭,” one user wrote.

And while we won’t go as far as to think they’re back together just yet, the birthday appearance comes at an interesting time given Fox’s latest update on their relationship.

In an appearance at Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast in March, Fox confirmed they had ended their engagement. “I feel like everyone has such an opinion on your guys’ relationship. You got engaged, then I think it was called off, then we don’t know what’s going on with you,” the host said before asking, “How would you describe your relationship with MGK?”

She confirmed “all those things” Cooper said were accurate, saying they’re “accurate things that have occurred.”

“I could see them being confusing or interesting to people, and them being like, ‘What’s up?’” she said, adding, “What I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption. So I think as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship per se.”

So while the two might not be opening up anytime soon, sources have confirmed they’ve recently been taking some time apart. “Megan and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship is up and down. Right now, they are taking some space, but things could easily change,” the source told Entertainment Tonight in early April. “They are still together as a couple and trying to figure things out. MGK is very in love with Megan, so he does his best to keep her happy and lets her take the lead.” We’re just glad they can be there for each other during important dates, romantically or not!
