Macaulay Culkin's Son 'Can’t Stop Playing’ with His Hollywood Walk of Fame Star

The actor accepted the prestigious honor during a ceremony on Friday

Macaulay Culkin's son is still raving about his dad's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

After the Home Alone actor, 43, accepted the honor on Friday, he shared on Instagram what made the award even more special.

"Thank you @hollywoodchamberofcommerce for the star. My kid can’t stop playing with it. It was such a special day to spend with my friends and family. Thanks for the clothes @celine and thanks for the pix @imagerybyoscar," he captioned the post that featured photos from the ceremony.

Culkin shares Dakota, 2, and an infant son born earlier this year with fiancée Brenda Song, whom he shouted out during his acceptance speech.

"I'd like to thank Brenda. You're absolutely everything. You're the best person I've ever known. And after the birth of our two boys, you've become one of my three favorite people," he said. The boys were present at the ceremony and were seen getting ready to take family photos with their parents in a video captured by PEOPLE.

In a post on Instagram, Song, 35, reciprocated the love by expressing how proud she was of her fiancé.

"So sooo proud of you @culkamania !! The most incredible day honoring the most incredible person. So well deserved and so long overdue. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support and celebrate. My heart is so full," she wrote.

The post included images from the event and a photo of a cookie celebrating her fiancé's achievement.

In a statement about Culkin's award, Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, expressed that "Macaulay Culkin has been a staple in pop culture for decades."

“He has an extensive trajectory of work but his movie, Home Alone, is one of the most beloved holiday movies known the world over," she added.

Apart from celebrating Culkin's latest accomplishment, Song praised Culkin's role as a partner in a previous interview with The Cut.

"I think when you and your partner have kids, especially the first few months, you don't have the patience to be polite with each other," Song said last year. "Being communicative when you need help is so important. Instead of having set duties, we just feel each other out. I'll be putting my son down and my partner is like, 'Let me feed the animals and get dinner ready.' "
