Mac DeMarco Shares Cover of “The Christmas Song”: Listen

Mac DeMarco is back again this year with a new Christmas cover. He did “The Christmas Song” with Kirin J Callinan. Listen to their take on the holiday classic below. The cover is part of a new 10-track benefit compilation called Valentine Recording Presents: A Christmas Miracle. Along with DeMarco, the project features Weyes Blood, Alex Cameron, Molly Lewis, Jack Ladder, and more. All proceeds from A Christmas Miracle will be donated to humanitarian aid organization Direct Relief to help victims of the recent California wildfires.

Last year, DeMarco shared a cover of Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmas Time.” This fall, he shared a collection of demo recordings from his most recently studio album, 2017’s This Old Dog.
