M.I.A. is curating the lineup for this year’s Meltdown festival in London. Today, she’s announced the first batch of artists. In addition to her festival-closing set, performers include Crystal Castles, Mykki Blanco, Young M.A, Young Fathers, Yung Lean, Tommy Genesis, JD Samson, Afrikan Boy, MHD, Mr Eazi, I Wayne, and Dexta Daps. The fest runs from June 9-18. Last month, M.I.A. publicly asked Radiohead to perform, while admitting that it’s “a long shot, but I live for long shots.” See full festival details here.
