In September, the M.I.A. documentary MATANGI / MAYA / M.I.A. was released in theaters. Today, the film is available to purchase online via iTunes and other digital retailers. The documentary is directed by Stephen Loveridge and was scored by Paul Hicks and Dhani Harrison. It offers a behind-the-scenes look into M.I.A.’s life as an artist with personal footage spanning decades. It premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival where it was the winner of the World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award.
