Duane 'Dog' Chapman Denies Dating Moon Angell Despite His Daughter's Claims
Denying The Rumors
There has been a lot of debate as to whether or not Duane "Dog The Bounty Hunter" Chapman is dating his late wife Beth's assistant of 20 years, Moon Angell. Rumors began when Dog posted a selfie with Angell on Instagram, although Dog denied that they were a couple. He told Radar Online:
"Moon has been a trustworthy and loyal friend to me for over 20 years. She has been with my family through many ups and downs. All my children are grown and gone on their own, there’s no one left to help me!”
“Moon is experienced. It’s just that. Who knows what my future holds, but right now I need her. There will never be another Mrs. Dog but that doesn’t mean I have to be so sad."
Calling Him Out On Twitter
However, his daughter Lyssa insists that they two are a couple, and she's calling out her dad on Twitter. She deleted a couple of the more incendiary tweets, but she isn't buying Dog's denial. She said:
"If I was shackled up with one of my sons ex girlfriends #IdProbablyLieToo"
"I have nothing to lose. But hey, if I was in your situation I’d probably lie too. #barf."
She left up a tweet that simply had the hashtag "#IdProbablyLieToo" as well as a meme about Bill Clinton.
She Is Angry
This isn't the first time that she has aired her grievances on Twitter. She tweeted at Angell directly, calling her out on Twitter. It was a lot.
"You’re disgusting woman. Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a “friend “ to, Is the lowest scum on the planet-Which for you wasn’t that far of a step down from where you were before. God will get you MARY !!!"
"Let’s not forget my BROTHER PICKED YOU UP IN A BAR ! 🥂"
"If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your step- mom died what would you do ? If you went to your mothers closet and saw she moved all her clothes and replaced them with her own, what would you do ? #ItsNotWhenOrWhyItsWho"
"My dad is a GROWN ASS MAN. His money. His dynasty. But you can guarantee that my name is not going down in history as a person who supported this."
Whew. Talk about drama.
He's Talked About Being Lonely
Since losing Beth, Dog has talked about the fact that while he is never planning on remarrying, he is open to dating again because he's so lonely. He explained to Entertainment Tonight that while his family and his team are great, it's still difficult.
"It's really hard alone, because as soon as you get alone, bam, it hits you. So, I try not to be alone. Sometimes they know I gotta be alone, but it hurts worse or you feel it more when you're all alone."
