Lupita Nyong'o is showing off her dance moves for pal Janelle Monáe.

On Monday, the Oscar winner, 40, shared a video of herself on Instagram leaning against a door as she danced to Monáe's song "Lipstick Lover" from her recent album The Age of Pleasure.

"My official audition to be @JanelleMonae’s next #lipsticklover 😘💄," Nyong'o wrote in the caption.

Monáe responded to in the comment section to jokingly share that the Us actress won the part. "A leading lady💄👄🥰😘 the role is YOURS😍💄💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋," Monáe, 37, wrote.

Nyong'o previously said she and Monáe met at the 2014 Met Gala after Nyong'o's Oscar win for 12 Years a Slave.

"This world is still extremely new to me and unbelievable,” she recalled of meeting the singer to Rolling Stone back in May. "[Janelle] came up to me and just gave me the realest hug. I think we may have swayed to the music. She was just like, ‘I’m so proud of you, and just thank you for being you.’ ”
