Lupe Fiasco and Kaelin Ellis Announce New EP, Share Song With Virgil Abloh: Listen

Lupe Fiasco and Orlando producer Kaelin Ellis have announced their new HOUSE EP—due out July 24 (via 1st & 15th/Thirty Tigers). The first single, “SHOES,” features Virgil Abloh, who “describes hypothetically designing the shoes that Ahmaud Arbery was wearing when he was murdered,” according to a press release. Listen below.

In early May, Kaelin Ellis tweeted footage of himself making music. Someone replied to Ellis, “Get this to @LupeFiasco somehow,” and the Chicago rapper did take notice, sharing the same footage a couple of days later. Ellis replied to Lupe, “lupe lets work. this is crazy,” and the HOUSE EP was born.
