Luke Perry's former "Riverdale" castmates are paying homage to the late star hours before the highly-anticipated Season 4 premiere.
Tonight, "Riverdale" fans will finally learn what happened to Perry's character, Fred Andrews, and the creator of the show has warned the episode is "bursting with sadness."
Lili Reinhart, aka Betty Cooper, led the star-studded pack and shared two separate posts for Perry.
"Tonight’s episode, and all episodes for the rest of our run, are for Luke. We love, honor, and cherish his memory every single day," she wrote. "I only wish he were here to see how many lives he touched with happiness and laughter. I know he’s watching from above. We love you, Luke."
She also shared another post of Perry and her boyfriend, Cole Sprouse, saying it's "my all time favorite picture of him."
Camila Mendes, who plays Veronica Lodge, shared a tribute on her IG story saying, "We put everything we have into this episode, we wanted to honor Luke's memory in the most sincere and respectful way possible."
Adding that this episode will be just as hard for her cast to watch as fans, she concluded, "the result is a beautiful tribute to our friend. Luke deserves that and so much more."
Madelaine Petsch, aka Cheryl Blossom, got real about her relationship with Perry.
Sharing a snap from an event that she didn't even know existed, Madelaine stated, "it explains our relationship to a T."
"He was always so generous and supportive and patient," she added. "I am so lucky to have know you Luke. You were one of a kind and impacted everyone's lives in such a meaningful way."
Mark Consuelos, who plays the powerful Hiram Lodge, took to social media to pay tribute to his late friend too.
Posting a selfie of the two on the water from 2017, Mark simply wrote, "That was a good day..."
Perry's daughter, Sophia, shared a sweet reply stating her dad had called her and revealed "how glad he was that the other Riverdale dads were genuine good guys."
Skeet Ulrich's post may be the saddest tribute of all.
Ulrich, who plays FP Jones, posted a photo of Perry's favorite hat and revealed the late actor left it on his counter one week before he passed away.
Mädchen Amick, aka Alice Cooper, said "a lot of love went into" the episode.
She had previously shared how hard the table reading had been for the cast.
Marisol Nichols, who plays Hermione Lodge and Perry's character's former love interest, stated, "This ones for you my friend."
As The Blast reported, fans were warned about how upsetting this episode will be.
Perry passed away while filming Season 3 and tonight, we will learn what happened to his character.
The actor died in March following a stroke at the age of 52.
