Luke Perry's son Jack posts emotional tribute

Tributes to Luke Perry are still rolling in following the actor’s death on Monday. His son Jack Perry is the latest to release such a tribute, with an emotional Instagram post celebrating their relationship.

Jack, a professional wrestler also known by the moniker “Jungle Boy,” posted a picture of himself in the ring alongside a childhood photo with his father. “He was a lot of things to a lot of people. To me, he was always Dad,” the caption begins. “He loved [and] supported me in everything, and inspired me to be the best that I could possibly be.”

Perry was supportive of his son’s career and attended Jack’s matches in the past.

“I’ve learned so much from you, and my heart is broken thinking about everything you won’t be here for,” Jack’s post continues. “I’ll miss you every day that I walk this earth. I’ll do whatever I can to carry on your legacy and make you proud. I love you Dad.”

Perry died at the age of 52 on Monday after suffering a massive stroke on Feb. 27. The actor was widely beloved, particularly for his roles as Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills, 90210 and Fred Andrews, Archie’s father, on Riverdale. The CW show temporarily shut down production following Perry’s death, and many celebrities tweeted and shared their remembrances.
