Lukas Gage's mom loved his “White Lotus ”butt-eating scene: 'She says I have the cutest butt in Hollywood'

"She was like, 'Go for it!'"

The White Lotus star Lukas Gage's mom "loved" watching her son's very specific scene with noted Hollywood daddy Murray Bartlett.

Gage appeared on Friday's episode of Live With Kelly and Mark to promote his role in Jake Gyllenhaal's new Road House remake, and, naturally, morning TV's horniest couple wasted no time asking the 28-year-old actor about the White Lotus season 1 scene in which Bartlett's resort manager character licks the butt of an employee played by Gage.

After Gage explained that he got his start in entertainment because his mother let him stay home with her to watch movies, Consuelos brought up the "unforgettable" moment in White Lotus and asked how she felt about it.

"She loved it. She didn't care. She was like, 'Go for it!'" Gage replied. "My mom is really cool and understanding about that kind of thing. She says I have the cutest butt in Hollywood, too."

The Television Academy also seemed to love the scene, seeing as Bartlett won an Emmy for his supporting performance in HBO's first season of creator-writer Mike White's anthology drama, which returned for a second season in 2022.

A third White Lotus season is also in the works, with White telling EW that it will serve "longer, bigger, crazier" vibes than the earlier installments.
