Luka Doncic caps off ACB championship with one-legged 3-pointer
Days before the NBA draft, while a number of projected lottery picks participated in sponsorship events in New York City, Luka Doncic won a championship.
At age 19, Doncic led Real Madrid to the Liga ACB finals — the championship series for professional teams in Spain’s top division. And in Game 4 on Tuesday, Real Madrid clinched the title, defeating Baskonia 96-85.
Doncic, who will travel to New York for Thursday night’s NBA draft, only scored eight points in his final game. But that did not prevent him from burying this one-legged 3-pointer in crunch time.

With Tuesday’s win, Doncic — who is from Slovenia — became the youngest player to ever win ACB title, EuroLeague title, EuroLeague MVP and EuroLeague Final Four MVP. Many have called him the safest pick in Thursday’s NBA draft.
As of Tuesday, Yahoo’s latest mock draft projects Doncic to be selected No. 2 by the Sacramento Kings.
