Luis Miguel adds second tour date in El Paso; tickets selling fast

Fans couldn't think twice Friday about whether they wanted to go to Luis Miguel's concert in El Paso next year.

Minutes after tickets opened at 10 a.m., it appeared only a few single seats were left for the May 2 show that was announced. A second show had been added with little announcement, but that, too, was selling out quick.

At 10:13 a.m., less than 20 seats were available for the May 2 show; and about 15 seats were available for the May 1 show. Both shows will be at the Don Haskins Center.

Tickets also cost a pretty penny, ranging from about $170, excluding fees, in the nosebleed section, to about $200, excluding fees, in the middle of the arena. A closer seat, such as row 1 of section E, costs $950 plus fees.

A special CD package, on sale for $99, could be added on top of the tickets for hardcore fans.

Aside from the hard-to-grab tickets, there were several pre-sale opportunities, including an Artist Fan Club and VIP packages that helped hardcore fans grab tickets ahead of the crowd.

So if you grabbed tickets Friday morning, congratulations. The rest of us will play our Romances CDs.
