Ludacris has responded to Katt Williams’ claims that he sold his soul for riches.

During Katt’s appearance on Club Shay Shay, the comedian alleged that Luda sided with the Illuminati to get into the Fast & Furious franchise. Katt also hit Luda with a personal barb, claiming that the deal gave him “a light-skinned ugly-face wife.”

“So there was a crossroads where we were both invited to an Illuminati thing, and it had to be one or the other of us, and decisions had to be made,” he explained. “So it was both of us. We were equal. One of us had to cut off all their hair and couldn’t do the sideburn thing anymore. And the next person they said was going to get $200 million because they were going to pay him $10 million a movie to do 20 movies. And that’s how the conversation happened. One of those [people] turned out to be Ludacris, and the other person turned out to be Katt Williams.”

The Atlanta emcee responded on Thursday (Jan. 4) in a freestyle. Rhyming over Kanye West’s “Devil in a New Dress,” Luda unleashed a lyrical tirade.

“Whatever’s heavy on my heart is always on my mind/Like Snoop’s cannabis shredder I’m always on my grind,” he rapped. “They throwing shade ’cause ni**as could never take my shine/I bring my watch collection on my jet, let me take my time/Like fine wine I’m aging like Benjamin/Top five, I’m worth mentioning/Bring me rappers, I’m lynching ’em/See the pendulum swing, Jesus with diamond thorns/Ludacris, swaddled in Gucci linens when I was born.”

As he continued, Luda then spoke directly to Katt “clout chasing” and saying “sh*t for likes.” He also implied that Williams must’ve been on drugs to make the allegations that he did.

“Never been Illuminati, only Ill-Luda-nati/And I only left with bi**hes when coming from any party,” he added. “Now I’m married with kids, the evolution of life/Never been a clout chaser, never say sh*t for likes/RIP John Singleton, you never have to flex when you earned every one of your Fast and Furious checks/Afro with the sideburns, yeah that’s my signature/Addiction’s on the rise, comedians check your temperature.”

Katt Williams’ Club Shay Shay interview set Black Hollywood on fire. Before he got to Luda, Williams fired shots at his other enemies. One of the people mentioned in particular was Cedric The Entertainer, whom he claimed stole his joke. The 52-year-old alleged that Ced stole and used his joke in 2000’s The Original Kings of Comedy.

“He thought that I was just a no-name comedian, and that he could take this joke and nobody would know,” the World War III comedian told Shannon Sharpe. “The issue was that I had already done this particular joke on BET’s ComicView. Twice. It had done so well that they made it part of the commercial.”

“This is not just a random joke, this is my best joke… it’s my closing joke,” he added. “Cedric comes to The Comedy Store, he watches me in the audience, he comes backstage, [Cedric] tells me what a great job I did and how much he loves the joke. Two years later, he’s doing that as his last joke on The [Original] Kings Of Comedy and he’s doing it verbatim—he just changed my car into a spaceship.”

Cedric The Entertainer previously appeared on Club Shay Shay in January 2023. During his appearance, the icon debunked Katt’s claims that he stole any of his material. “That was ridiculous. I seen Katt 30 times, and he didn’t say nothing,” the legend expressed. “All that was some internet sh*t. I responded to him, he didn’t respond to me, so I left it at that.”
