Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick
One of Hollywood’s most stable couples got their start over Labor Day weekend. On Sept. 4, the couple celebrates 29 years of marriage. Kevin and Kyra’s love story began on the set of Lemon Sky in the ’80s and it’s been on ever since. The actress has credited their longevity partly due to, well, sex. “Sex is really important. That desire is there,” she told Redbook. We’re sure their two children, Travis, 28, and Sosie, 25, opted not to read that particular article. (Photo: Kevin Bacon via Instagram)

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade
“The Wade Union” is one to envy, that’s for sure. The NBA superstar and Being Mary Jane actress tied the knot in 2014 after five years together, and their fairy-tale day was nothing short of magical. “Love is waking up to your smile and as tough as I am, love is never wanting to go sleep to your frown… Love isn’t about winning, love isn’t about losing. Love is simply choosing and I choose you,” Wade declared in his vows. Three years in and the couple is as strong as ever. “He’s my best friend,” Union told People. “All we do is laugh when we’re together.” And take amazing vacations! Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.
The ’90s dream couple celebrates their 15th wedding anniversary this weekend. By Hollywood standards, it’s pretty much their 30th anniversary. The actress has credited being present and mindful with keeping their relationship strong. “Make the most of the moments you have,” she advised. “Take the 10 minutes — put the phone down. Have a cup of coffee together. Walk the dog at the end of the night. Read a story with your kids. … Make the most of the time that you have. We are all pulled in so many directions, so make sure that, whichever one you are focusing on, you’re present.” (Photo: Sarah Michelle Gellar via Instagram)

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg
Three years after their wedding, it still seems like McCarthy and Wahlberg are in the newlywed stage. After being set up by Andy Cohen, the couple wed within about a year of dating. Despite some who thought it wouldn’t last, the former View co-host and New Kids on the Block singer appear to be going the distance. One reason Jenny loves her husband so much is how well he treats her son, from a previous marriage, who has autism. “Donnie [Wahlberg] has been amazing,” the actress exclaimed. “I thought for sure I would be going at it alone, like many parents who have kids with autism do, usually 80 percent of them [are] divorced. So the fact that I found the love of my life for me, and [my son] Evan found a stepdad in his life, I feel like I can’t ask for anything else.” (Photo: Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for SiriusXM)

Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross
Second time appears to be the charm for Simpson. The singer — who was married to rocker Pete Wentz for three years — wed Diana Ross’s son, Evan, in 2014. The couple tied the knot at Diana’s home in Greenwich, Conn., with the legendary singer officiating the ceremony. If that isn’t good relationship juju, what is? Their adorable daughter, Jagger, is also proof of that. (Photo: Evan Ross via Instagram)

Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan
These two aren’t only in the “Labor Day Wedding” club, they are also in the “Scandal Free Marriage” club. That’s astonishing for a couple that has been married for 39 years, a milestone they will celebrate on Sept. 2. “Number one, we got married for the right reasons,” Emilio told Oprah about their drama-free relationship. “We were raised poor kids, immigrants that were coming to this country. So in a way … we have a big responsibility for the next generation.” Gloria added, “Culturally, they look at us a lot, but that’s not the reason. … You don’t sit there thinking, Oh, I represent…. But we’ve been working. I mean, we’ve been together, which helps.” (Photo: Monica Schipper/WireImage)

Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe
Just because Meyers and Ashe aren’t the splashiest couple around town, doesn’t mean they aren’t one of the happiest couples. The Late Night With Seth Meyers star and Ashe, a human rights lawyer, wed over Labor Day weekend in 2013 in Martha’s Vineyard. They have welcomed one child together since tying the knot.
