Luann de Lesseps (‘The Masked Singer’ Hibiscus) unmasked interview: ‘I’ll see you all at my cabaret shows!’

“The Masked Singer” celebrated songs that were once all the rage on Wednesday, November 8 with its “One Hit Wonders Night” episode on FOX. Four mystery celebrities sang their hearts out, but it was Hibiscus who wilted after her performance of “It’s Raining Men” by The Weather Girls. The fiery flower removed her mask to reveal “The Real Housewives of New York City” star and Luann de Lesseps.

“So much fun, I had the best time!” she told host Nick Cannon during her unmasked interview. “I’ll see you all at my cabaret shows! Do you think I can keep this [costume] and take it home?” She then broke into her classic tune, “Money Can’t Buy You Class.”

Before the entertainer unmasked the panelists submitted one final guess for who they thought was hiding inside the Hibiscus costume. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg was spot on with her guess, but her co-panelists Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger were all wrong guessing Janice Dickinson, Kim Cattrall and Hannah Waddingham, respectively.

In her clue package Hibiscus revealed, “My life has been party fairytale, part soap opera and part comedy of errors. Emphasis on the comedy. My love of the stage stems from my childhood. I grew up in a large family and had to compete for attention, which led to my love of performing, where I got all the attention I craved. I was a total late bloomer who, after a hospital stint, became a sexy flower in the big city. I was approached in a cafe being told I look like Sharon Stone. From there I hobnobbed with royalty. Everyone from David Bowie to Sir Elton John and eventually I blossomed into who I am today, minus a few pitfalls, falling outs and a husband or two. But at the heart of it all, performing is my soul. And now this flower is ready to get a little dirty.” Visual clues included a nightclub called the Bloom Bloom Room, a gingerbread house, a first aid kit, Dracula, the Statue of Liberty and photos of all the celebrities mentioned earlier.

Celebrities previously unmasked in Season 10 were Demi Lovato (Anonymouse) Anthony Anderson (Rubber Ducky), Tom Sandoval (Diver), Michael Rapaport (Pickle), Billie Jean King (Royal Hen) and Tyler Posey (Hawk).
