LSU baseball vs Bethune-Cookman game time changed Friday because of severe weather forecast

The first pitch of LSU baseball's game on Friday against Bethune-Cookman has been moved up from 7:30 p.m. to noon due to a "forecast of severe weather," the school announced on Twitter.

Friday's matchup at Alex Box Stadium is the first of a three-game series against the Wildcats.

No. 9 LSU (10-3) defeated McNeese State on Wednesday, 6-3, to snap a two-game losing streak it suffered in Houston against No. 1 Texas and Baylor in the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic. The Tigers defeated Oklahoma in 11 innings in the first of their three games in Houston.

Bethune-Cookman is 5-7 but has won four of its last five matchups. The Wildcats did, however, lose to UCF at home on Tuesday, 6-2.

After its three-game set against Bethune-Cookman, LSU will host Tulane on Tuesday and then kick off SEC play at home versus Texas A&M for three games starting next Friday.
