‘Loving’ & ‘American Pastoral’ Bookend Hamptons Lineup

The Hamptons International Film Festival will open its 24th edition on October 6 with Jeff Nichols’ Loving and close with Ewan McGregor’s Philip Roth adaptation American Pastoral, which just bowed at Toronto. Both pics are making their runs through the fall festival circuit on the way into awards season. Focus Features will open Loving in limited release on November 4, while Lionsgate will open American Pastoral in limited release October 21.

The Hamptons fest runs October 6-10 in East Hampton, NY. Edward Norton will receive its Career Achievement Award during a ceremony October 9.
