The third annual Is For Lovers traveling emo fest has been announced, with Hawthorne Heights, Underoath, Yellowcard, The All-American Rejects, and more among the acts playing the various stops.
Is For Lovers is curated by Hawthorne Heights, who are the only band to play each of the seven locations on the 2024 festival tour. The first stop, Lake Tahoe Is For Lovers, takes place June 22nd, with All-American Rejects and Movements among the acts on the bill.
Other locations are West Virginia Is For Lovers in Charleston, West Virginia on July 13th (featuring Underoath and Thursday); OBX Is for Lovers in Manteo, North Carolina on July 20th (featuring Motion City Soundtrack and Less Than Jake); Pop’s Is For Lovers in Sauget, Illinois on July 27th (featuring Thursday and Anberlin); Iowa Is For Lovers in Council Bluffs, Iowa on August 24th (featuring Yellowcard and State Champs); California Is For Lovers on August 31st (featuring Saosin and Finch); and Ohio Is For Lovers on September 7th (featuring Hot Mulligan and Silverstein).
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Is For Lovers website. Fans can also check for tickets via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
“We are happy to be back in 2024, soaking up the summer sun with these bands and fans, most of who have been shedding and shredding tears with us since 2004,” stated Hawthorne Heights singer JT Woodruff. “While each show has a wildly different feel, we think it’s important to celebrate the local and regional attractions at each date.”
He continued, “Is For Lovers Festival is designed to put the fan in a Time Machine, and transport them back to the most vibrant years of their lives. We try to make it an easy day spent in beautiful locations with bands that helped shape who they are. Hawthorne Heights is excited to be outside, setting up tents, loading gear, singing these songs, and personally spending time with our fans.”
