The time has come for another group of sexy singles to wade through drama, temptation and surprises in their quest to find romance when Love Island USA kicks off its highly anticipated Season 5 on July 18 only on Peacock. But who are these brave singles?
Fortunately for those who have been dying to know who they’ll be getting an eye-full of six days a week this summer, we’ve finally got your answer and they do not disappoint. There’s an aspiring detective, a microbiologist, a wrestler, a Chiropractic student and much more joining the island this season and, despite their diverse backgrounds, they all have one thing in common (two if you count the fact they’re super hot) — they’re all looking for love.

Don’t let this bubbly blonde’s personality fool you, she’s got your number and isn’t afraid to get some dirt on the men she’s dating. Growing up with a detective as a father has left her with no qualms about looking up potential suitors to make sure there are no red flags in their past. Dad also raised her with a keen judge of character and she claims she can tell right away what a guy’s intentions are based on little things like the tone of their voice. Despite all these skills, she still has some issues with dating, calling herself “a walking red flag,” Anna has a propensity to fall in and out of love with guys pretty fast and plans to play the field as much as possible while on Love Island USA, especially with the guys who all the other girls like.

Destiny grew up in a close-knit Southern household and is proud of her background, especially her Native American and African roots. She looks up to her mother, who raised kids while pursuing a career. That’s led her to being what she calls an “Alpha” dater in her personal life. She likes to call the shots and claims she’s never been rejected by a guy she pursued. She even once put sugar in her ex’s gas tank because he ignored her calls. In addition to a guy who can handle all that, she’s drawn to tall guys who can match her energy and be the missing puzzle piece in her life. If they too happen to be Southern, well, that’s a big bonus.

Vickala, known as Kay Kay to her friends, isn’t afraid of adventure or hard work. She previously bartended her way through paying for nursing school with the sheer grit and pride one would expect from an East Texas native. That work ethic made its way into her dating life. She recently ended a relationship with someone she thought was “The One” when she found out he had a wife and two kids. Now, she adjusts her dating profile location to span hundreds of miles for a wider selection of men and is willing to drive more than 4 hours from home for a date. Although she likes to swim in a big dating pool, she still admits she can be jealous sometimes and hopes to find someone in the Love Island USA villa who can satisfy her desires for adventure and trust.

Kassy is a free spirit who isn’t afraid to let her quirks shine through in her dating life. With roots in Peru and Mexico City, she’s followed adventure all her life, taking her from her hometown to Texas where she’s lived since her junior year of high school. You can find her collecting crystals during the day and reading adult bedtime stories at night. When it’s time for a laugh, she claims she does the best impressions of people, but that’s up for debate. When it comes to dating, her openness tends to make her fall in love a little too easily with the wrong guys. She once got a tattoo on her bottom lip just to get a guy’s attention… She’s currently single.

This Illinois native isn’t afraid of anything, including walking away when things aren’t working. She recently got out of a bad relationship by packing her bags and moving to Nashville. Growing up in a small town, she had to find ways to entertain herself with her friends when there was nothing better to do. Now that she’s older and ready to settle down with someone, she’s tired of the games and just wants to have fun with someone who gets her. Hopefully, that person is a dark-haired guy with tattoos, as that’s her go-to type. This self-proclaimed “Queen of Talking Game” is here to take on whatever relationship comes next for her on Love Island USA.

Leonardo was always pushed to be the best growing up and that has kind of extended into his dating life. He came from a highly competitive household. He has a twin sister who is currently playing soccer at Yale, his older brother played baseball at UMass-Amherst and, not to be outdone, Leonardo plays Division I baseball. Despite his athletic prowess, he is single and has a lot of thoughts as to why. Namely, he can see red flags from “a mile away” and therefore struggles to get into relationships. As for his game, he believes too many men his age rely on cheesy pickup lines to win a woman’s affection. He opts for eye contact, funny sayings and the charm that comes from speaking fluent Spanish to land someone’s heart. Will it work with the ladies on Love Island USA Season 5?

When it comes to playboys, Marco knows how to play the game. This party boy’s phone is always buzzing with potential dates. While he won’t always respond, he loves the feeling of being pursued and makes sure to live a lifestyle that fosters that. He gets a manicure and pedicure once a month to look good and his former college football player physique doesn’t hurt that game either. However, he’s coming to Love Island USA because he believes it’s time to hang up his hookup hat and wants to settle down and find someone with family-oriented values to begin his future and put his past behind him. Only time will tell how well that strategy works out.

Dating is tough for Keenan because he’ll be the first to admit that football is his first and (so far) greatest love. He’s been playing since high school and credits it with giving him the confidence he enjoys today. So, that means whoever wants to be with him will have to share him, his time and his emotional energy with the game. That’s not to say he’s all football all the time. He says he’s pretty handy in the kitchen and wants to find someone who he can cook for and fall in love with.

He won a National Wrestling Championship in Spain earning him a scholarship in the United States where he lives today in Atlanta, GA. When he’s not wrestling, he enjoys playing rugby. However, don’t go thinking he’s all jock. He is currently writing a romantic novel and makes money on the side by entertaining kids at parties cosplaying as Aquaman. While he finds the job fun, he’d be lying if he said there weren’t a lot of mothers hoping to take just as many pictures with him as their kids.

Carsten is known as Bergie amongst his friends and family, just as his dad was before him and his grandfather was before him! Obviously, family means a lot to him and growing up in a small town, he’s got a lot of ideas about what he wants in a partner. That can be tricky to navigate. His longest relationship in college was only 10 months but now he’s hoping to find the girl of his dreams who shares his same values and is hopefully tall (the man has a type). While he hasn’t met that woman yet, he’s been planning to meet her for a while, he even keeps a journal with love letters written to his future wife, whoever she may be. Could he perhaps find her on Love Island USA? Fans will have to tune in to find out.
