With fans revisiting Love Island USA, many are wondering what happened to Leslie Golden in season 3. Why did she leave the show? Here’s all you need to know about Leslie’s sudden exit.
What happened to Leslie in Love Island USA season 3?
Leslie Golden suddenly left Love Island USA season 3 for “personal reasons.”
Multiple contestants, including Slade Parker, Ballo, and Leslie Golden had to leave or were cut from Love Island USA season 3. This wasn’t the first time contestants disappeared from the cast, as Noah Purvis was also suddenly cut out of the second season after his work in adult films was discovered.
As for Lelie Golden, she posted a story on her Instagram suggesting that she left due to “personal reasons” but didn’t specify what they were. Fans presumed that she simply left because of the drama on the show. But she confirmed that her exit had nothing to do with the show, and she had no problems with anybody involved. However, she later revealed the real reason.
Why did Leslie leave Love Island USA?
After initially stating that she left Love Island USA for “personal reasons,” Leslie Golden later revealed that she was kicked out for bringing an “illegal” dab pen.
Yet again, Leslie took to Instagram to reveal what happened while answering some fan questions. When asked about leaving the series, she said:
“I would love to say it. I think it’s hilarious, it’s a really dumb reason. Again, very on-brand for me. However, what I did was a little illegal [laughs].”
She revealed that she was fired from the show because she had brought a dab pen to the villa. She continued:
“So I actually brought it into my glasses case and carried it around. And the bad thing is, people would pick it up all the time. And I would just be like, ‘Please don’t look at that!'”
For those unaware, a dab pen is a portable vape used to smoke weed.
