Love Island contestant Luke T has been praised online for being a gentleman after he asked for consent to touch Siannise while she performed a lap dance for him.

The exchange happened during last night’s (9 February) episode when the couple were nominated to spend time together alone in the hideaway.

Luke T described himself as being ‘absolutely buzzing’ to get some alone time with Siannise.

In response, she donned some racy lingerie and treated her partner to a lap dance.

Luke T, despite being obviously happy with the situation, did not let himself get to carried away and remembered his manners as he asked “Can I touch you?” as she performed.

The polite asking of consent has lead to plenty of praise online for Luke T, with some saying the simple question was “sexy”.

Journalist Nola Ojomu tweeted: “Guys, please, why was I here screaming and smiling so hard for Luke T and Siannise? Even found her little lap dance cute.

“Also, just fully appreciated Luke T asking for consent. It might be the hideaway but he didn’t take permission for guaranteed. I can’t cope.”

TV presenter Oloni tweeted: “Yayyy! You hear that consent ‘I give you permission’”.

Elsewhere, another fan tweeted to say: “Luke T proving that CONSENT IS SEXY and does NOT ruin the moment. Take notes lads.”

Another wrote: “Siannise was literally dancing around in lingerie for Luke T and he still asked if he could touch her before he laid a finger on her. CONSENT IS THAT SIMPLE.”

The couple have proven popular in recent episodes, with some predicting they could even make the final.

Love Island continues on ITV 2 tonight at 9pm.
