Over the weekend, Apryl and Lil Fizz continued to flaunt their romance on social media. Apryl posted a couples photo of the two captioned, , “My goal is that someone sees my page and decides to grow strong, live YOUR life, and not give a f*ck.❤️”
Rapper Meek Mill decided to drop a comment on the post. He wrote, “Y’all outta pocket for this move 😅 No disrespect.”
Meek’s comment had Apryl and Lil Fizz in their feelings and they both quickly responded. She accused Meek of trying to get at her in the past. Fizz wrote, “Only thing outta pocket is what I paid for the dinner.” Meek wasn’t the first celebrity to criticize the romance. Joe Budden said, “Omarion don’t get enough credit for just chilling cuz man listen ….”
Moniece Slaugher, who stars on “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood”, is the mother to Lil Fizz’s son. Her attempts to co-parent with Fizz and deal with Apryl have been a major storyline on the show.
Apryl and Lil Fizz’s relationship is controversial due to Apryl’s baby daddy being singer Omarion. The two dated but ended it officially in 2016. They have two kids together, A’mei and Megaa.
Omarion and Lil Fizz were in the band B2K together and recently reunited for a reunion show. Many have praised Omarion for being silent amid the messiness.
Following Apryl’s social media post, Moniece took to Instagram to comment on the situation herself.
She shared a quote, “If today all you did was hold yourself together, I am proud of you.” She captioned the post, “Channeling my inner Omari”, a reference to Omarion not speaking on it.
Apryl recently sat down with Nick Cannon on the radio. She said, “To the perception of the world, Omari’s unbothered, but he bothers me. There’s a lot that I’m dealing with behind closed doors that people don’t know. Like, not receiving support and a person claiming they only make a certain amount of money, and I’m only getting $700 a month. Like, little stuff like that. It’s just the truth. So what are you gonna tell your children when they find out what you did to their mom?”
The reality star added, “I let Omari go. It took me a year and a half to get through that relationship. It was the hardest breakup of my life, but I left it where it was at. I went through that healing. I left it where it was at. I don’t feel no way. I don’t want to wish bad on him because he is, at the end of the day, the father to my kids. I want nothing but the best for him. I want him to succeed in life, I want him to find another woman that’s gonna love him, and that’s gonna be great for my children. And I would wish that for him. Unfortunately, sometimes when you get in a new situation, or you’re flourishing in your life, sometimes men can’t handle that.”
