Although Zanab Jaffrey and Cole Barnett walked down the aisle in the “Love Is Blind” season 3 finale, Zanab quickly told Cole off at the altar, accusing him of “single-handedly shattering my self-confidence.”

At the reunion, Zanab accused Cole of body shaming her throughout the filming of the show and claimed the infamous “Cuties” scene was proof of being body shamed. However, fans quickly turned against Zanab when the scene was released, showing Cole actually expressing concern over her eating habits.

Zanab not only doubled down on her claims but has frequently shared photos and videos of fans supporting her and bashing Cole, who seems to have moved on. It seems that Zanab clearly hasn’t, as she claimed to have met up with Cole’s ex-wife over Thanksgiving weekend.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Zanab took to TikTok to share a black-and-white video set to Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise.” She seems to be sitting in a car in a winter jacket, rocking out to the song and tilting her head back and forth.

The text on the video reads “You’re in my comments/mentions/dms about him. I’m having coffee with his ex-wife.” In the caption, Zanab wrote, “Respectfully, we are not the same. Disrespectfully, we both don’t want that. #prayingforyou.”

Many fans said that they were “waiting for the tea” and some followers even supported her. “Yes ma’am!! People don’t understand how much it can tear you down when your partner starts commenting negatively on your appearance, even as a ‘joke,’” one user commented. “love you Zanab!!!!!! you're so real,” another fan wrote. Zanab replied, “I really am tho 😘.”

However, other “Love Is Blind” fans dropped #TeamCole comments on her post, with one fan saying, “It’s giving weird.” Another follower added, “Not the energy I was looking for.” A third fan wrote, “It’s giving hurt and bitter…” Another follower asked, “How old are you again?”

So Who Exactly Is Cole Barnett’s Ex-Wife?

It’s unclear if Zanab did actually meet up with Cole’s ex-wife for coffee like she says she did, but it has a lot of people curious as to the identity of Cole’s ex-wife, who was only mentioned briefly on the show. According to Gossip Next Door, Cole married Catey Benson on June 23, 2019.

Very few details about how they met or how their relationship ended are available, but it’s publicly known that they tied the knot at the Texas Discovery Gardens in Dallas, Texas. Their wedding registry asked for gifts such as a Primrose Quilt, Paul Marrot Garden Carafe, Moonside Cake Stand, and various other items.

The third season of “Love Is Blind” debuted on October 19, 2022, and it’s said that the show was filmed about two years ago, which means their marriage didn’t last more than a few months.

Catey hasn’t updated her Facebook account in a long time and deleted her Twitter, so it’s possible that she changed her handles once she found out that Cole appeared on “Love Is Blind” to try to stay out of the spotlight.

Many “Love Is Blind” fans said they were “disgusted” with Zanab’s behavior and expressed support for him in the comments. “I did think you were a bit immature with who you were put with (we’ve all been immature) but you didn’t deserve anything she did to you. The fact she’s focused still on burying you says volumes. The fact you refuse to stoop to her level also says volumes,” one fan wrote.

“You weren’t perfect (are any of us) and you were in an experiment that no one can relate to (which years of these have said can cause people not to think straight in heat of the moment) yet you still showed remorse and you still try to better yourself,” they added. “After a year and some months, all she has is white wine stem glasses and bashing you.
