Warning: This post contains spoilers from season 6 of Netflix's Love Is Blind.

Love Is Blind's Chelsea Blackwell is weighing in on fans’ reaction to her claim she's been compared to Megan Fox.

Viewers were buzzing all weekend about Blackwell’s resemblance (or lack thereof) to Fox, 37, after the event planner and flight attendant, 31, told Jimmy Presnell she had often been told she looked like the Jennifer's Body star.

That conversation — in which Blackwell also acknowledged she didn't really see the comparison herself and told Presnell not to "get excited” — took place through an opaque wall in the pods before the couple got engaged and were able to see each other in the flesh. Immediately after their first meeting, though, Presnell said in a confessional interview that, even though he was still attracted to his fiancée, she had "lied" to him about her appearance. With Presnell struggling to compliment much more about Blackwell than her teeth, her growing insecurities are sure to spell for trouble as their engagement plays out on the show over the next few weeks.

Now that the show's first six episodes have aired, Blackwell decided to address the Fox hubbub head-on Sunday on TikTok and Instagram.

Posting a video of herself holding a beverage and dancing to Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song,” she added the caption: “Go on a show for love > get your butt dragged through the trenches.”

Blackwell expanded the thought on her Instagram Story, reposting an affirming note first shared by friend Presley Carter: “Thank you all who are from our hometown and known Chels for all of your love and support for her through this! It’s been so exciting to watch her and see everything!”

Carter continued, “Also very hard because people are so mean here on the internet and take reality TV way too seriously. Like it’s a show yall, we need to cool it 😉”

She went on to explain “what people who are criticizing the cast [need] to understand,” writing, “These are real people with feelings, and emotions. With families and friends reading the comments. We’re ALL imperfect, all trying our best. Please respect the cast through this.”

Carter's note also mentioned that there are editors behind Love Is Blind who “want to get drama and tell a narrative” before concluding with a reminder not to be judgmental.

Before Presnell and Blackwell agreed to marry, she had also formed a connection with Trevor Sova, while he was considering taking the next step with Jessica Vestal. Ultimately, Presnell admitted he wasn't "100 percent" confident about proposing to Vestal, who is the show's first-ever single mom, and went straight from that breakup to the pod with Blackwell. And because Presnell's meetup with Blackwell was scheduled before Sova's, their fates were seemingly sealed.

Now the season 6 couples are on the brink of returning home to Charlotte, North Carolina, amid tensions over Presnell's comment in Mexico about Amber Desiree “AD” Smith's “stacked” body. And as a teaser for the next batch of episodes showed, both Blackwell and Presnell are going to reconnect with their former flames, which will certainly make for a rocky road to the altar.
