Lourdes Leon is turning the see-through dress into her signature style.

The 26-year-old model and musician wowed in a see-through dress at theVogue Fashion's Night Out in Madrid, Spain, on Thursday night, just a week after wearing a barely there minidress to Victoria's Secret's New York Fashion Week event.

The eldest child of pop icon Madonna posed on the red carpet in a sheer striped dress with different black, white and red designs swirled in, including what appeared to be motifs of dragons, fish and anchors. The see-through material even showed off her black thong underwear.

She paired the look with large golden hoop earrings, a silver chain necklace, matching silver chain bracelets on her left wrist and black heeled boots and she held a matching black handbag with silver chain for photos.

The event, which was held to celebrate Vogue España’s 35th anniversary, was also attended by political commentator and writer Nicole Wallace, Spanish actress Ana Fernández and actor Álvaro Mel. The event, created in collaboration with the city of Madrid, also featured a street fair with stands run by Vogue and collaborating brands, according to Vogue España.

It’s no surprise that the musician took front and center for the event, as she was also featured in a new profile for the publication — in which she discusses her latest singles and upcoming performance in the country scheduled for Saturday. The star said she is set to perform at the first Brava Madrid, a festival that aims to “break gender norms through fantasy, music and fashion."

While discussing her music-making process, Leon noted to the publication that as an artist, she inhabits being “ugly” from time to time due to working late and being tired, but she’s entered a phase in her life where she no longer is as focused on her physical appearance and is more focused on creating her music.

However, that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t take her fashion seriously. Her dress to the Vogue Fashion's Night Out echoed the spider-web-like dress designed by Natalia Fedner she wore during New York Fashion week to celebrate The Victoria’s Secret World Tour.

The dress was made entirely of stretched metal textile woven into a loose-knit netting, which she teamed with similar black thong underwear and platform stiletto sandals.

Leon is no stranger to edgy sartorial selections, having recently modeled little more than a handbag as part of the latest campaign for Australian-U.S. designer Dion Lee. In the ads, Leon posed completely in the buff, wearing only strategically placed purses fashioned into a bikini, as well as thigh-high sandals featuring the same chain embellishment.

She previously told Interview magazine in 2021 that she wanted to transcend what people thought of a typical model to be.

“I want to create a world in which models have more agency over what they’re doing, and they’re not just silent clothing racks,” she said. “That’s the age that we’re coming into in the fashion world: models as personalities and artists.”
