Get ready to drink beer, listen to music and have fun on Main Street.

Summer Beer Fest will take place for a third time this year in downtown Louisville, with more than 200 beers to choose from — depending on the ticket you buy. The block party-style event runs from 5 p.m. (4 p.m. for VIP holders) until 8 p.m., July 29, in several areas around the Frazier History Museum on Main Street.

“We’ve created a new tradition on Main Street celebrating the rich brewing history in Kentucky,” Andy Treinen, president of the Frazier History Museum, previously said.

Proceeds from the event, now in its third year, will go to the museum's exhibitions and education programs, including Frazier Weekly, the “Let’s Talk: Bridging the Divide” seriesguided tours, guest engagements, and Stories in Mind, which brings the Frazier into long-term care communities.

"During each half hour of this year’s Summer Beer Fest at Frazier, which runs three hours, the Frazier will give away concert tickets to lucky festivalgoers," the release said. "One winner will receive two tickets to Bourbon & Beyond 2023; another winner will receive two tickets to Louder Than Life 2023."
