Louis Tomlinson and his siblings have been there for each other through thick and thin.

The “Silver Tongues” singer is the eldest of his big blended family. Louis was born to Johannah “Jay” Deakin (née Poulston) and Troy Austin on Dec. 24, 1991. Louis didn't have a relationship with his father, who went on to welcome a daughter named Georgia Austin while in another relationship.

Meanwhile, Johannah married Mark Tomlinson, and the pair welcomed four daughters together: Lottie, Félicité and twins Phoebe and Daisy. The couple later divorced in 2011, and Johannah gave birth to a second set of fraternal twins, son Ernest and daughter Doris, with her husband Dan Deakin.

Louis, Lottie, Phoebe and Daisy grew closer after their mom died from leukemia in 2016 and their sister Félicité’s sudden death in 2019.

From his One Direction days to his solo career, Lottie, Phoebe, Daisy, Ernest and Doris are their brother’s biggest supporters. Most recently, the older sisters were in attendance for the London premiere of his Paramount+ documentary All of Those Voices.

While Louis, Lottie, Daisy and Phoebe have a presence on social media, Georgia lives her life offline and isn’t in the public much. On the other hand, Ernest and Doris can be spotted on their sisters' social media accounts.

Here’s everything to know about Louis Tomlinson’s siblings and their relationship with the singer-songwriter.

Johannah died from leukemia on Dec. 7, 2016, at the age of 43. In the years since Louis has opened up about his grieving process and how he channeled his emotions into lyrics. His mother’s memory inspired the first single, "Two of Us," off his debut album, Walls.

"I just feel like musically, I almost needed to get this song off my chest,” he said in a statement in March 2019. “People say writing is a part of therapy and in a way, I feel like I’d been avoiding writing this song because I knew I only had one chance to get it right.”

He spoke with U.K.'s Metro and shared why she would've approved it. "She would have loved it, she was a fan of ballads,” he said. “My mum wasn’t about feeling sorry for herself. Again that’s what gives me pride and comfort singing the chorus. It feels really liberating.”

While appearing on the ITV program Lorraine in April 2019, he also revealed that she "was always obsessed with the idea of me playing piano" and in honor of her, he opened his song that way.

"Normally I might have said no, but ... knowing that she liked that idea and having that with this song ... I just kind of zoned in on that idea and just really went for it," Louis said.

Félicité, who affectionately went by Fizzy, died on March 13, 2019, from an accidental overdose. According to the BBC, Coroner Shirley Radcliffe said the cause of the death was a fatal combination of Xanax, OxyContin and cocaine. The 18-year-old was a model and influencer who aspired to be a fashion designer.

Louis didn’t publicly comment on his sister’s death until a month later. On X (formerly known as Twitter), he thanked fans for sending their condolences and well wishes. “Just wanted to thank everyone for their lovely words over the past couple of weeks,” Louis tweeted at the time. “Back in the studio today to vocal something I wrote a few months ago. Sending you all loads of love x.”

Phoebe and Daisy both shared touching tributes in honor of their late sister. “You were my best friend, sister, motivator and person that could make me laugh until I cried," Phoebe wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of Fizzy as a child. "I’m lost without you and the thought of never seeing you again scares me like you wouldn’t believe.”

Daisy also shared an old photo of the sisters on Instagram, writing, “No words will come close to explaining how broken I am, once again.” She referenced their late mother and how she has “two angels now watching over me.”

Louis’ younger sisters, twins Phoebe and Daisy, were born on March 23, 2004.

They have a combined total of 2.3 million followers on Instagram and are both signed under the same talent management and brand agency in London. The close-knit pair also have matching cherry tattoos on their upper right hip. When they aren’t at Fashion Week or partnering with brands, they’re jet-setting around the world together.

In honor of their 19th birthday in 2023, Phoebe penned an emotional letter to her twin on Instagram. She touched on Daisy’s “incredible wisdom, strength and courage” and how she is “someone I admired day in, day out.”

"I wouldn’t be half the girl I am today without you dais and I can’t thank you enough for everything you do for me,” she added next to a throwback snap of them from their childhood.

Daisy speaks about her twin and their unique bond with the same gratitude. She once captioned an Instagram post of her and her sister, “anywhere with you is home ✨.”

Lottie founded her own skincare company

Lottie Tomlinson/Instagram
Louis Tomlinson's sister Charlotte “Lottie Tomlinson founded the company Tanologist.

Lottie, a makeup artist by trade, launched a vegan self-tanning brand called Tanologist in 2018. The collection spans from lotions and drops to water formulas and hyaluronic acid-infused products.

According to Lottie, she always called herself a "tanologist" because she enjoyed "experimenting with different products" and trying to achieve the perfect glow. That said, she didn't find the one she was looking for and created it instead.

“I’ve developed this range to deliver everything I wanted in a tan — clean, clear and streak free results and I can’t wait for you to become a total 'tanologist' too!” she wrote on the Tanologist website.

Tanologist has taken off, garnering more than 160,000 thousand followers on Instagram. Lottie has also gotten her products into major retailers nationwide, including Target, CVS, Walgreens and Ulta, among others.

Louis was the first of his siblings to become a parent. His son, Freddie Reign, whom he shares with stylist Briana Jungwirth, was born on Jan. 21, 2016.

On the topic of fatherhood, the singer told SiriusXM, “It’s affected how I am as a person a little bit. I’d like to say it’s made me a bit more mature — I don’t know if that’s actually true.”

A few years later, Lottie and her partner, Burton, welcomed a son named Lucky on Aug. 10, 2022. On his first birthday, Lottie shared a carousel of photos. In the Instagram caption, she said that Lucky has “shown me a love I didn’t even think was possible” and thanked her son for making “my heart whole again.”

Most recently, in June 2023, Phoebe announced that she and her boyfriend Varley are expecting their first child together. The soon-to-be parents later revealed in August that they are having a daughter.

Louis and his siblings share peeks at Ernest and Doris

Johannah and her husband Dan welcomed fraternal twins, son Ernest and daughter Doris, on Feb. 10. 2014.

“Daniel and Johanna are pleased to welcome twins — a boy Ernest Rupert Atholl Deakin, 5 lbs 12oz, and a girl Doris Poppet Deakin, 4lbs 11oz,” a spokesperson told Metro at the time.

Although not much is seen of the twins, fans occasionally catch glimpses of them on their older siblings’ Instagrams. Daisy posted a series of family photos on Instagram in March 2023 featuring Ernest and Doris with their nephew Lucky.

She previously shared the family celebrating Christmas together in their pajamas. While Louis was missing from the photo, his son Freddie posed in his place.

Louis' estranged father, Austin, announced that he was diagnosed with liver cancer in May 2018, only 18 months after the death of Louis' mother. Austin is also Georgia’s biological father, whom he welcomed in another relationship.

In an interview with The Sun, Austin shared that he had undergone a four-hour tumor removal surgery. The father of the One Direction star believed it was related to his drinking and diet.

“I can’t blame it on anything else. Each day I was smoking up to 25 cigarettes and drinking six to eight cans of Tyskie, a Polish lager,” Austin told the U.K. outlet. “And my diet was terrible. It was Chinese and Indian takeaways and a lot of chips.”

Amid the health scare, he hoped to reunite with Louis. "My life is changing now. If he ever wanted to make contact then I would be happy for that to happen,” he added.
