Louis Tomlinson Files for Shared Custody of Newborn Son Freddie

Louis Tomlinson is all about his daddy duties.

The singer filed for joint custody of his 5-month-old son Freddie Reign, PEOPLE has learned.

Tomlinson, 24, is asking for 50/50 physical and legal custody between him and his ex Briana Jungwirth.

TMZ was first to report the news.

Since welcoming his first child in January, the boy bander has been a hands-on and doting dad, as he’s been snapped multiple times running errands with the newborn and shared photos of him on his Instagram.

“Lad and Dad,” Tomlinson posted an adorable black and white photo with his son a month after her was born.

Not long after his post, an insider told PEOPLE that Tomlinson and Jungwirth had an “interim agreement” regarding Tomlinson’s access to the baby, as they worked to figure out a long-term custody and child support agreement.
