Louis C.K. Has a Lot of Animal Jokes in His “SNL” Monologue: Watch

“Every moose looks like a dude who turned into a moose right before you looked at him.”

By Noah Yoo.

Louis C.K. hosted “Saturday Night Live” last night with musical guests the Chainsmokers. For his opening monologue, the comedian delivered a stand-up routine that found him impersonating moose, giraffes, chickens, and horses. It literally begins with a “why did the chicken cross the road” joke. His animal material ranged from observational (“Every moose looks like a dude who turned into a moose right before you looked at him”) to characteristically crude (“I’m thinking of buying a goat so I can have a trash can I can make love to”). Amid all the zoological material, C.K. also addressed white privilege and the difference between seedy motels and fancy hotels. Watch it below. Louis C.K. last hosted “SNL” in 2015. He recently released a new standup special on Netflix.
